Talaramba Reef

Set across two villas - Villa Sulanga and Villa Vatura - Talaramba Reef has located within two acres of expansive gardens on a peaceful beach just a short stroll from the town of Mirissa in Sri Lanka. These stunning informal beach houses with wide verandas, colonnaded courtyards, and open living spaces provide a barefoot luxury retreat for families and large groups of up to 16 adults and eight children.  

Everything in the villas from the furniture to the bed linens is handmade in Sri Lanka and individually decorated with works by contemporary local artists. Each of the two villas house four spacious bedrooms with king-sized four-poster beds and en suites. Whether on the ground or first floor, all eight rooms have their own private balcony with expansive sea views. Both villas have individual pools and the one at Villa Vatura has a shallow section perfect for toddlers and babies. 

Talaramba Reef sits on Mirissa Beach which is safe for swimming and also offers the unique opportunity to watch the local stilt-fisherman at work. 

Guests can enjoy expertly prepared meals by the talented in-house chefs or take a stroll along the beach to nearby Mirissa and its selection of restaurants. For a once in a lifetime experience, the villa team can arrange a beach barbeque of freshly caught seafood to be enjoyed with sand between the toes.

The dedicated management staff provides guests with assistance in organizing transport and excursions, shopping trips, and visits to local spas. Each villa has its own cook and steward.
